What is shiatsu?
Shiatsu is a Japanese massage technique. In earlier days it was mainly used within families. In this century Japanese therapists like Namikoshi and Masunaga, developed shiatsu into a professional therapy. They introduced shiatsu in Europe. At the moment shiatsu is becoming more and more known in Europe. That is not strange, because shiatsu is very effective and easy to apply.
“Being in Love” means being in a place of Love, a state of Love, in a being of Love. It’s not at all about romantic love or falling in love, but an existence in a state of Love.

I was at one of these impromptu think tank gatherings. Well, technically it was a social gathering at a coffee shop on a Friday with some interesting people, including a retired doctor and a man who works in the nuclear medicine biz. The doctor had asked me what it is that I did for a living and I, knowing his ‘people’ might not approve of me and my standing as an alternative medical practitioner, took a deep breath and explained that I worked as an energy healer.
Who wouldn’t want to know what a person is really thinking of them, whether a prospective business partner can be trusted or relied upon, or whether a prospective life partner is all that they seem to be?

Life serves up a variety of experiences, opportunities and challenges at a timing that can be very confusing, mainly due to the multitude of details and the fact that we can’t see the big picture, except, sometimes, in retrospect. Opportunities we passed up for seeming insignificant may later turn out to be a big miss.

One of the principal reasons why people go into the helping professions is, well, to help. Another is to be helped. There are countless instances of people who went into the field of psychology, for instance, because they wanted to figure themselves out.
